Testimonials
"Walter Angus cattle perform. In May 2016 we placed the 2015 steer calf crop on feed at United Feeders in Rocky Ford, Colorado. As you will reluctantly remember it was not a pleasant time to be in the cattle business. After the market run-up we experienced in 2014, we were reminded of the reality of our business. The Walter Angus sired calves performed despite the circumstances. We sold them on the grid in October 2016. With opportunity costs considered, our steers were $25/head winners compared to the feed yard contemporaries at the time who were $350-$400 losers without risk management considered. Our success was thanks to the balanced trait and carcass quality emphasized at the Walter operation. The experts tell us the ideal feeding steer and replacement heifer can’t be born in the same pasture. Thanks to the balanced trait selection at Walter Angus, our pastures prove you can have the best of both worlds and maintain profitability. Enough about the cattle, they speak for themselves.
I want to draw your attention to the most important thing to consider when selecting your next herdsire - the people who stand behind them. There is not a more honest family in the seedstock business as the Walters. Sustaining integrity and glorifying the Lord are who they are and what they do. It is a privilege and an honor to call them my friends and partners in the industry we love and enjoy."

"What a great family to do business with. I have been using Walter Angus Bulls for a few years now. They have great dispositions and produce Great Calves. Very pleased to say they have been at the top of the Market. In fact in 2018 the Steers topped the market in Torrington, Wyoming."

"I have been purchasing 2-4 breeding bulls a year from the Walters for ten years. They have performed very well, holding up to very challenging conditions. Walters have done an amazing job of producing genetics to fit the needs of the angus cattle industry while selecting for good temperament."

"We have been using Walter Angus bulls since their beginning. We look at milking ability, carcass quality, docility, and fertility. Running in North Park, Colorado the bulls must also PAP test well to survive. The black and black baldy Walter sired cattle perform not only in the toughest range conditions, but in the feed yard as well."
